Welcome ๐
Why this site exists ๐กโ
As many of you probably know (or are about to find out the hard way ๐ ), itโs absolutely vital for MSPs to take and maintain control โ not just for one client, but for all clients at once.
Thatโs where standardization becomes your new best friend. A solid blueprint for your Microsoft 365 environment takes you a long way โ helping you not only manage your clients, but actually serve them at a higher level.
The real challenge: keeping things consistent across clients ๐ฏโ
Now, letโs be honest. When you're managing multiple clients at once (you overachiever, you ๐ง ๐ผ), keeping everything consistent is a major headache.
Why?
Because even with standards in place, real-world IT is messy:
- Colleagues come and go ๐
- Everyone puts their own โcreativeโ spin on things ๐จ
- Repetitive tasks lead to... well, sloppy mistakes ๐ฌ
Before you know it, no two clients are configured the same way. Even though โ on paper โ they should be.
This kind of inconsistency makes it hard to:
- Maintain control ๐งฏ
- Troubleshoot effectively ๐
- Or even figure out what โnormalโ looks like anymore ๐ตโ๐ซ
The solution? A deployable blueprint ๐งฑโ
Thatโs exactly why we need a blueprint โ something you can deploy across your tenants using a tool like SuperVision.
With a blueprint-driven setup, you get:
- โ Standardization across all clients
- ๐ Repeatability with fewer errors
- ๐งญ Drift monitoring to help you stay in control when things change (because they always do)
It's not about micromanaging everything โ it's about knowing what's there, catching what changes, and delivering services at a higher level... without losing your mind.
What youโll find here ๐ ๏ธโ
You won't find just code dumps. What you will find is a set of instructions, explanations, and blueprints for all sorts of components that make up your Golden Master:
- Policies ๐
- Groups ๐ฅ
- Configs โ๏ธ
- And all the bits that help reduce the IT burden for your end-users
Itโs like IKEA instructions... but for Microsoft 365. (Except I try to use words instead of hieroglyphics.)
SuperVision Tips Included ๐งฉโ
Since I personally work a lot with SuperVision within the KPN Partner Network, Iโll sprinkle in some practical tips โ for example, how to use Tags to create dynamic setups that adapt to each clientโs unique needs.
Because a blueprint should be flexible, not just "one-size-fits-none."
Before you go nuts... โ ๏ธโ
This site is for educational purposes. You're the one pressing the buttons. So if you break something... you know who to blame (hint: not me ๐).
Oh โ and just so weโre clear โ we roll with the MIT license around here. Because we like to share... responsibly.
And for the acronym haters... ๐โ
If you know me, you know Iโm not really into abbreviations. So yes, I use emojis instead. You're welcome.
Enjoy the read, learn a thing or two, and donโt forget to standardize like a boss ๐ผโจ
